Over the years I have seen the SBC move further away from the bible toward the secular humanist culture. I have disagreed with Russel Moore for years and think he is a disgrace. I was strongly disappointed that the convention would elect J. D. Grearr to leadership and the last ounce of respect was drained when the convention committee subverted the actual proposed resolution on CRT and intersectionality. Moore is very vocal in his hatred for President Trump who did more to support religious liberty, Israel and pro-life efforts than any president in my lifetime. Yet he is strangely silent on the efforts by Democrats to mandate acceptance, celebration and financial support of abortion, of sexual sins, and of violence, looting and general lawbreaking. I believe the SBC has chosen politics over the bible. I can no longer tithe to may local church as long as they support the SBC and will send my money to a truly Christian organization such as Samaritan's Purse.
