The Nanaimo Airport was constructing for the Canadian Air Force glider pilot training and for war time emergency airfield. The airport is located 13 km south southeast of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. In 1942 by the Department of nation Defence 522 acre land was purchased for the Airport.
