The Jose Rizal University is a non sectarian private Educational Institute. The University is located at Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyoug City, Philippines. The Jose University was founded in 1919 by VICEnte Fabella. He was the first Certified Accountant in Philippines. The starting name of the Institute was Far Eastern College and in 1922 the name of the College was changed to Jose Rizal College. The College was founded at Arlegui Street and then it was moved to R. Hidalgo Street. In 1949 the College was moved to its current location.
