I called one of your numbers and I went round and round being asked to press button one or two or three , etc and eventually I was cut off

British Gas does not deserved the title British it should revert back to just Gas. I have been a Facilities Maintenance supervisor and never ever rated BG due to the fact that these are incompetent useless, the BG operative Not used the word (Engineer) so I referred to BG Operative these think that by installing new part that they fix the problem and its never fixed hence they recommend " Power Flushing " and I know it had been done before, so as a Maint Eng I know about these things. My Issued is quite a simple one my HW developed a fault they came two days and the Gas operative installed a new Pump and a new three Port Valve actuator also an RCD in line to the Pump Why ? do not know why he did that when the system was ok before. So spoke to a friend and he fixed issue marvelous I now have HW (Hot Water)so my conclusion they are totally and utterly IMCOMPETENCE idiots.

Impossible to contact number telephones listed are now in use

Cannot receive any acknowledgement to letters, totally ignored their customers

Just threats made to customers, no progress to solve their, (British Gas') errors

Disgusted with them. They do not care, just 'going round in circles' With every contact customer is compelled to go through the problem in detail every time, but nothing is ever solved.

Appalling service since being automatically transferred over from my previous energy provider who unfortunately went bunkrupt, due to the energy crisis, in October of 2021. Numerous phone calls to many various personnel and my complaints and issues are still unresolved. Currently very frustrated and moreso after another telephone conversation of today, 11. 4. 22, where more issues were passed to BG re. My account with no satisfactory explanation.

Same here, treating disabled pensioners disgracefully. So frustrating when cannot logically speak and get answers from anyone, full of empty promises!
Still receiving threats and told to ignore them as they are "automatically computer generated" , not easy to accept in 'my shoes' had a debt collector out in january, which was an error but no apology of course. Good luck, we need it.

I agree,why does british gas get away with ripping off consumers? old age pensioners? i used british gas local heros to do some work on my central hearing,cost ?340. 00. Waste of time and money? i was told by british gas,i had a 12 month guarantee,when a problem arose,no guarantee said british gas,i am now forced to take county court action against british gas.
