How could you do that to Ziggy That kid is a sweetheart. He is a gentle, kind and caring soul. He has been through so much and you just made it worse. He is one of the most talented kids that auditioned and you just threw him away. It was obvious that he had the better voice than the other contestant hands down. But that wasn't the issue was it. You do not like the way he dresses or dyes his hair and I think that is sad. I am 71 years old and I have learned a lot about not judging a book by its cover. That kid has a good heart and he deserves better than the way he was treated. I am really disappointed and I guess I am angry that ANY KID would be treated so UNFAIRLY. The whole thing has just made me sick and I wish there was something I could do for that child right now, but this is all I can do. You guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves. I do not think I am going to watch this year or perhaps ever. I am just worried about Ziggy. (in my photo I am a Doctor Who cosplayer at Dragon Con.

Why did you let that high school boy go? He was the last group of two. You told him that you picked the other contestant because of his age. I just heard a seventeen year old sing that you let through. That high school boy was my favorite singer. He was so cute with a great personality. Also was a great singer. He was just like my nephew. I have always loved American Idol However, it has become such a production of about the judges especially Katy Perry There is too much judge drama between one another and also towards the contestants. This is to be a show to highlight talent as it used to be. Katy Perry is all about herself and her drama It steals time and true concern for the clients. It would be nice to go back to the good old days of idol when it was about the contestants After watching the opening season this year I will not be watching the rest of the year. I've talked to many others who feel the same way. I think Katy Perry should be replaced. It's very sad.

Counter of cancel culture has take over American Idol. Hill have been woken. last night i was shocked as lionel richie let his raciest views and ingnorance out in full view, he treated that contestant horablie on TV toothe guy should sue him, richie has always looked like an old bull dog that has problems with a good looking male white singer, after last night he should be kicked off the show as that was one of the worst things i ever seen on a TV contest, first off when i found out he was going to be a judge for the season i wasnt going to watch it cause of that creepie lionel richie the know it all big mouth, Don 25 yr pro bass player retired

I only found out about this program recently, and it takes precedence over every other program I had been listening to. I'm so sorry to hear that it is going off the air It has given a chance, a start to so many young people in a career that brings joy to the world. What a gift American Idol has been to these individuals, and what a gift they have been to all of us who hear them. If I can put in my vote, I vote for American Idol to stay on TV.
