Mr. Angelos GavrielJun 04, 2014
Honourable judges
Until the end of December 1963 i lived with my family in my house, which since then is occupied by the turkish military forces. I am now eighty years old.
Last January i submitted an application to the “immovable property commission” (no 41/2014) regarding compensation for not being able to use my house.
The said “commission” was endorsed by the european court of human rights as an effective domestic remedy for examining such claims.
I bring to your attention that during the last months the commission’s work is being delayed for some reasons. This adds extra sufferings and irrevocable troubles to its applicants.
I would be grateful if my letter is considered as a humble appeal to you to intervene, giving the necessary instructions so that the “commission” does the job as endorsed by your honourable court.
My grateful thanks for taking up part of your precious time to deal with my letter.
Angelos gavriel (journalist).
