Actually this is not a review, but a request. I am a Vietnam vet and have my slouch hat for more than 50 years'. The chinstrap started to show signs of wear and finally snapped on Anzac Day service at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital service. Just wondering if you can help me with a chinstrap or where I could buy one. Regards,
Barrie Osborne.

I was discharged from Watsonia Army Barracks (as it was then called) in 1968 after my two-year National Service. I really do not remember much apart from having lunch there which as I recall was quite good. I am a Vietnam vet and did my tour in 1967. I sustained a broken back during my service and have had a bone graft and laminectomy. I do a special workout at the Kokoda Gym located at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. This program is designed to strengthen core muscles, particularly the spine. However, all this is not relevant to the question I want to ask. My slouch hat is in good condition, but I need a new chin strap. It broke through wear and was held together with super glue for the special Anzac Day service at the Repat. Maybe your Q Store could help out an old ex-service Digger. If you can, I say thanks, but if not I'll have to pursue other avenues. Regards,
