The University of Glamorgan is the UK based largest and Famous public University that was founded in 1913, and in the beginning, the University was opened as a School of Mines. Later in 1949, during the depression, the School was taken over by Glamorgan County Council, and it was came to be known as Glamorgan Technical College. In 1958, the collage was changed again into Glamorgan College of Technology. In 2007, the University was opened its new Campus in central Cardiff as ATRiuM. In the same year, the University was providing Education to more than 21,500 Students including 10,227 undergraduate Students. Besides Cardiff Campus, the University has also many other Campuses in several locations: Trefforest, Merthyr Tydfil, Glyntaff and Tyn y Wern. In 2013, the University of Glamorgan has been converted into the University of South Wales.
