The State John ambulance of Australia is the charitable association that is established to help the people who are suffering from sickness, physical distress or danger. It is operated by eight Priories. This organization was formed in the year 1883. The headquarters are located at Barton. Today, it consists of 12,631 members. They raise funds in the form of donation from the public.
It also provides first aid training to the Students who want to peruse their career in first aid training such as AED and ALS. They also have set up a separate Ophthalmic branch to provide eye-treatment and also they have established Ophthalmic Eye Hospital in Jerusalem. The National OffICEr Grade I is the head of the department. They also provide training to the cadets at various levels. The cadet leader is the head of the cadets. Young Children can join as cadets since they complete 8 years. The Youth Council is also set up to provide progressive ideas about the organization. They provide servICE to the disabled people for traveling anywhere.
