In 1987, she released her first album, Günah Bize, which was produced by Kervan Plak. In 1988, she started performing at Maksim Casino as a singer. Sibel Can's voice smoothly melds with Tarkan's pop sounds in the song "Cakmak Cakmak" with him, making it popular in Turkey and elsewhere.
