Santokh Chaudhary won the Indian general election, 2014 being an Indian National Congress candidate. He was former Cabinet Minister of Punjab. He was born on June 18, 1946, at Dhaliwal, Jalandhar, Punjab. His parents were Master Gurbanta Singh and Smt. Sampuran Kaur. Santokh ji got married to Smt. Karamjit Kaur, who is a retired Director of Public Instruction College, Punjab. Santokh Chaudhary passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 76; due to heart attack during Rahul Gandhi's ongoing march Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab's Phillaur.
