The Marine Engineering and Research Institute is an Autonomous Research and training Institute located in the Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in the year 1949 and is the oldest and best marine Engineering College in India. It was formerly known as the Directorate of Marine Engineering training and offers under graduate Programs in Marine Engineering.
