Kirori Mal College, was established in the year 1954. It is one of the co-Educational constituent College of the University of Delhi&sa=Search&ref='>Delhi (DU). It is located in the North Campus, of the DU. It not only provides an academically enriching Environment but emphasises on overall development of the individual, by encouraging extra-curricular interests of the Students. It offers a unique combination of social activism, learning and creativity in all the disciplines so as to make their Students socially responsible and encourages the pursuit for knowledge in them. It has a total intake capacity of 1409 seats in its under graduate courses in B.Com(Hons), B.A.(Hons) in various branches like English, Hindi, History, Geography, Pol. Science, Economics, Sanskrit and Urdu and B.Sc.(Hons) in Maths, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. It offers postgraduate courses which include M.A. in English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Pol. Science, Sanskrit and Urdu and M.Sc. in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Operational Research, Physics and Zoology. It consists of a total of twenty departments and has well qualified and dedicated faculty members.
