Mr. Louie KishJun 16, 2016
I've been reading your magazines for 45 years and it upsets me when one of your jerky contributors injects politics into an article. On page 60 of July 2016 edition, Mark Alexander was rating his favorite British Open courses. Under Turnberry, he had the audacity to say that he dropped the ranking from #1 to #3 because Donald Trump owns it, and went further that he would drop it more because of Trump. He needs to get his head out of his rear and stick to golf. The rating of the course should have ZERO to do with who owns it. Further, there is little doubt that Trump has improved the course significantly since rescuing this land a few years ago. Stick to your knitting Mr. Alexander and I hope to heck that the next time you mention Trump's name it has "President" in front of it. And because you cannot tell the truth, I hope he bans you from ranking courses in the future and builds a wall to keep you out. Santa Ana, CA 92705.
