Franklin Castle also called the Hannes Tiedemann House is a traditional house situated at 4308 Franklin Blvd in Cleveland's Ohio City community. The construction has four floors and over twenty rooms. The castle is supposed to be the most haunted home in the State. The house was included to the Nationwide Register of Historic Locations in March, 1982. The home was developed in 1881 by designers Cudell and Richardson for Hannes Tiedemann, a German born immigrant. Tiedemann's daughter Emma succumbed to diabetes in 1891. Possession of the castle has transformed hands regularly in the last thirty years. Vagrant set a fire which terribly damaged the castle in 1999.
