Fort Bonifacio High School originated from Philippines armed forces School in Makati City. Fort bonifacio high School was founded in 1946 with the aim to offer secondary Education to AFP personnel who were recruited to war in the backdrop of huk campaign. It was granted the status of a public School in 1958 after the M.O.A. between the department of Education and the Philippines Army. It got its present name in 1967.
