I spend over $100 a week at your store and have done so for years. BUT, since you refuse to refund me the $74. 95 plus tax that I paid I will NEVER spend a dime in any of your businesses. Think of that: You saved $74. 95 plus tax by denying my request for a refund BUT lost over $100 A WEEK. Wow You must feel real smart right now.

As a senior with a disability, I was denied the use of the bathroom, stating they did not have one. I could not stay and shop there, for I need accomadation. Is this the policy at all your Family Dollar stores, or was that a personal decioan?

I reordered and still have not received my order since Aug. 24th and nobody at the store or from customer service knows where my order is. Ms. Joyce A PadillaSep 07, 2022 When it comes to ordering items online to be delivered to store it is very unprofessional, This is my second attemp to order online as the first time my item never arrived and nobody knew anything or how to check the status of my order. I reordered on Aug. 25th and received email stating my order was available for pickup. Calling the store to confirm the have no knowledge again of order and do not have it. I was told to try again this next Thursday after their truck comes in to see if maybe it is on that truck. They need better tracking of orders so when the customer will have an official date to receive or pickup order instead of playing a guessing game and still not know whether you will receive your order or not. Very UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.

There is currently a homeless person living beside the HVAC unit which borders our property and is a security risk for our clients. I have contacted the Manager of the Store and our local police department has contacted them as well asking that they rectify this situation. We have not had any resolution to date.
Ms. Linda E CertnerJun 25, 2022 I used to regularly shop at the FD located at 7127 Staples Mill Road in Henrico VA 23228. On Tues June 14th I went in to purchase a couple of graduation cards. While in there the music was extremely loud and inappropiate. The lyrics of the music was depicting women as sexual objects in a RAP style. I couldn't believe I was hearing this in a Family oriented store. So when I went to the front to purchase my cards I told the clerk, "This is the worse music I think I have ever heard" She then told me to leave the store. I told her I was planning on it after I paid for the cards. She then said that she didn't have to serve me and to leave immediately. I asked her where the nice lady was that was the manager. She replied that she was gone and she was now the manager. My staff has been instructed to never purchase another item from there again. We were daily customers. Linda Certner

first off ;;;; this store is absolutely filthy. Trash all over the floors. Floors haven't been swept or mopped. Shelves are half bare with stock sitting in the middle of the floors. This store has a smell to it. Second;;; went to cash out and the cashier was rude. I put my bank card into the chip reader and the reader went blank and I let the cashier know that she needs to clear on her end and she replied "I do not have to do anything". Well I came home and called the district office North Carolina office and no one answered the phone. This is good business people.

Ms. Jeanie McKeanMay 23, 2022 I was purchasing a tube of toothpaste that was advertised as "Wow $1". At the register the cashier informed me I owed a $1. 35. I made a comment that I thought it was a dollar. The cashier then informed me of price increase, I then said it was advertised for a dollar. She replied that they have not yet changed the pricing. I referred to the law that it has to be sold what is posted. Again I said the banner on the shelf said $1, she then said the store does not price match. I informed her, it was on the shelf, not another store. She asked if I wanted to continue with the purchase, I replied number It is not the $. 35, (yes I know there would have been tax), but it is the fact of truth in advertising. A mere few cents over a day, over many stores could mean the store bringing thousands of dollars. Not a fair practice. I will not be shopping at your stores.
The manager is slandering people in our local community and on company time is screwing your employees. Since this is unethical and in appropriate for a manager of any business I thought it important to let you know what is happening in one of your stores.

The customer service of this company, is reflected by the stores as well the headquarters. Rude disrespectful with no chance of finding a higher management that will do anything about it. What ever happened to "the customer is always right"? There is a real compatition problem in American corporations. I was under the assumption that monopolies were not legal. There needs to be some major changes made to business in our country.
Ms. Liz SandersFeb 13, 2022 I’m not too sure about other Family Dollars, but the one on Morgantown Street in Uniontown, PA has got some serious problems. First off I think it’s a husband/wife run kinda dump. And that’s bad business right there. He’s always sick when I’m in there and she’s always always yakking on her phone while running a cash register while talking to him and there’s always a girl with a crying baby hanging around running in and out of the storeroom or just in the way up front. Ive never in my life seen anything so sloppy and so poorly run in my life Half the time I get no receipt or they forget to put something in my bag. I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone when I’m in there. It never used to be like that. Ugh Big Lots is gone from that shopping center so it looks like Rite Aid is getting ALL my business from now on.
Mr. protohunter MonsterDec 30, 2021 I was just in the Family Dollar store, at Terra Bella CA. 93270 and I spend at least 75 dollars a week there and I was going to buy some cigarettes for my Sister in-law and they asked me for ID to buy cigarettes. I did not have my ID on me at that time, so the cashier wouldnt sell me none I am 57 years old, obviously over 21 the legal age to buy cigarettes. California State law says if the person looks 27 or younger to card them no where does it say if they look, 57 or younger to card them. This really made me upset its obvious i am older than 21. So why would this company in a small town in Terra Bella which, i have lived at my whole life, and have a lot of family and friends that live here. That I will tell them not to shop with this company any more. The cashier was really rude to me also. The LAw States if a person Looks younger than 27 to card them. Not at the age of 57.

They use to have great customer service, but now the customer services is awful, bad attitudes and very disrespectful. I was one of y’all favorite customer, but now I will never spend my money in None Of Y’all Stores. I will passing this on to all my families and friends Do Not Spend Your Money With People Who Don’t Respect You. Spend it somewhere else. I spend money in this store daily, I went to buy some garage bags for my home. So when I got in the store I seen some bags 32 for $5 and then I seen some that was under the price for $4 for a 100 bags. So I take the 100 bags for the $4, now I’m at the register and I tell the assist manager I finds bags under the price that say $4 and it is the 100 bags. She said we will not be honoring that price for No $4, but you can have them for $8? This is my fourth time, dealing with BS.
Mr. Simon TemplarNov 17, 2021 In regards to family dollar of west columbia, SC, located on 475 Sunset Blvd. It's becoming a problem with this location not opening up in time to better serve the morning customers and the McLane food deliveries, who are all waiting outside for an employee to show up to open the store. This is a result to poor management and lazy people on a daily bases. The biggest reason for loss profits is due to poor management, leading to employees not concerned about taking their employment seriously.
Ms. Ms. HudsonOct 12, 2021 I visited the Family Dollar in Tunica, MS. I was afraid for my life and my two children. The cashier was extremely loud and constantly using profanity. She was unprofessional as she cursed an elderly customer. And after being fronted by another customer the cashier cursed her too and swore the customer pulled out a gun on her. Me and my children stood directly behind these customers and witnessed the whole incident. There was no gun pulled out on any one. The cashier called the police and right out lied to the officers indicting the customer had a gun and threatened to shoot her when instead we "the customers in line" backed up when the cashier came from behind the register and stated "I got a gun too, and will use it". If I had been the two customers I would have been the one fearing for my life. We didn't know why the cashier was going to the back of the store. She could have had a gun and shot towards everyone in line. This was a terrible experience.

Ms. Becky SorensenSep 03, 2021 Our Family Dollar used to be the best. Great friendly people and very helpful to everyone. This has all changed with the unbearable temperatures in the store. The air conditioning has been out for weeks and no one seems to be worried that they store is closing at 3:00 in the afternoon due to elevated temperatures. Did I mention we live in Arizona. When asked about the expected date of the air conditioning fix, I was told that they may be able to fix it next week. They weren't sure. We live in a very small community and have two dollar stores. I will be going to the other dollar store (Dollar General) though I really hate to abandon my favorite store. It's just way too hot. I work and they close before I get off work. Sorry Family Dollar Someone in a very high position should really look into this store and get this straightened out yesterday.

MY two PIT BULLS WOULD NOT EVEN SMELL THESE MUFFINS. I THREW ONE OF THESE MUFFINS AT MY BOYFRIEND AND HE CAUGHT IT AND IT DIDN'T BREAK. Can never get a hold of anyone wether phone call or in person. Do you know your Associates in Killeen Texas are impersonating managers over the phone when I try to call and make a complaint? I can never get a hold of anyone and did you know your stores are in violation to the federal law against Americans with disability act? I was discriminated upon for being exempt of wearing a face mask. The lady Mary in store 1604 South Fort Hood drive Killeen TX 76542 refused service when she required a face cover and I told her I was exempt. She raised her voice when I declined and told me to leave embarrassing me in front of another customer and my child. This is unacceptable and I demand answers and phone call. A mandate or requirement is VOID when you are in violation of Federal law. You need to train these associates and tell them to step down from their positions. This needs to stop now.
