This is to bring to the kind notice of concerned officials that my grand son has landed at Chennai domestic airport on 16th Oct around 11. 45 PM to pursue his higher studies online. After reaching the airport, he booked one prepaid auto and it is quite astonishing that the amount charged was rupees 500 to go to Postal colony, West Mambalam, which is unfair and out of parameter, for a distance of approx. ten kms. A normal auto fare for this route during the day is ranging from Rs. 130 to 140 and rupees 229 during late night hours, on the higher side. The amount charged by the counter staff at airport was ransom which needs to be thoroughly investigated, so that passengers from other states in particular will not fall prey to such looting. Even, if my grand son had hired an auto or uber taxi from outside, he would not have ended up paying this much. By charging such phenomenal fares, the image and impression of Chennai is bound to affect further, in the eyes of general public.

Dear Editor,
I want to raise a big issue in our country. It is about 'Reservation for lower caste'. My opinion is that reservation should not on the basis of caste it should be on the basis of income level. Many families below poverty line are not able to afford the education facilities, but they are more eligible for job opportunities because they have a passion to do for nation. I wish that you raise my opinion in your news paper 'Times Of India. Thank You.

Dear Editor,
Since yesterday I am trying to know the email Id of the editor of TOI-Delhi thru your website and telephones, but all in vain. I wanted to send my strong reaction to the yesterday’s editorial in Delhi edition on withdrawal of criminal cases against the journalists by the Delhi Police. I sent detailed email against his views on timesfoundation@@timesgroup.com, but the same was reported to be invalid and hence not delivered. Then I tried the phone number given to me for the purpose 011-23302333, but all the time I found it busy. It looks as if working in TOI is quite secretive. It is shocking that a reader of TOI for the last more than 50 yrs has to reach the editor. In public interest and free communication, TOI must immediately update the details in Google search in all fairness. Lastly, in the interest of freedom of speech, please let me know the email of the editor of TOI-Delhi at your earliest convenience.

Sir,
This refers to "DGP : Always carry self-declaration" - TOI, Kochi edition (Pg 5) of 19th April. The GOI has issued instructions for States and UTs on procedure to be followed after 15th April and has stated that there will be NO DILUTION of their orders, though States may permit some relaxations with regard to functioning of shops/establishments (among others). I was therefore surprised to see that that in the case of cars a total of THREE persons may be carried, while on 2-wheelers, TWO persons are permissible. This is against the figure of TWO and ONE respectively as directed by the Central Government. Please clarify if this is correct and the GOI has issued further relaxations as have been indicated at your snippet. Doc Law ,
Kochi.

Sir
Recent review of property tax. With reference to the above, if possible, I would request your News Paper to be the first to do a detailed report of the same. The recent hike for eg. In North Korattur the hike effected is in the range of 700 - 800 % without even verification. Most of the residents are senior citizens or medically effected and they have no idea of how to go about. Hence, i would request your reporter to kindly take on site report like places in TVS Nagar area, TVS Nagar annexe, TVS Nagar North to know the actual facts on how indiscriminately they have increased he property tax. Your early action ASAP will be highly appreciated. Regards
Vijay

LETTER TO EDITOR: I truly hope no one in India believes Hillary Clinton's blabber. She may speak only for a small handful of women and even then she's absolutely incorrect. Saying white women vote the way their men vote is ludicrous. If we look at her history since she was in college, while her husband was president and her role in today's headlines, she is a terrible excuse for a woman or human being. She is a nasty woman that uses people. Why people and countries give her a platform to speak is the question. She has no thing, but lies to promote.

Sir,
I have read the news regarding ex-central government staffers pension goes up by 157%. The news is totally wrong. Earlier the lowest pensioner was taking 3500 basic pay and 120% DA. When both are totalled it comes to RS. 7, 700/-. The actual difference in growth is RS. 1300/- which amounts to 16. 88% growth. Please check my calculation with the ministry, if I am right then please amend the news. Otherwise, this news will give wrong impression. Thank you.

Business proposal Original date 3-1-2012 This idea started in the kitchen with my 15yrs old daughter and a silly picture off the Internet. It when from the idea of a simple flip flop assesory to a huge leap forward for mankind. . I know that no one has issued a "request for proposal". Here is an idea to take the internet to the next level in the world of virtual reality. The new reality world would become your point of entry into the matrix marketing world and would be multidimensional and it would feel like you were in that world. The holding company for the matrix would be a "grandparent company" that would also hold many of the world products and companies. This business would also boost the economy all over the world and help support growth and renewal to everyone from every race creed and class. One it

The paper has become the mouthpiece of left and anti national activists. The problematic issues are highlighted on the top page. Any small event which may put the centre govt. In bad light is projected widely. All the editorials blames every issue on the govt. The height is that the anti national elements and people openly damaging the nation are termed as right to freedom of expression. Every pro BJP statement is intolerance and fasicsm. This is being done deliberatively and strategically to damage the country and to appease the masters who either in India or abroad. (No pts for guessing their names)
So TOI Editor gp. Pl beware and stop being a mouth piece and puppet in the hand of lefts. Be neutral and pro India.

Mr. FILLMER HEVENERJan 14, 2015
Dr. Fillmer Hevener, Pastor, Guthrie Memorial Chapel (Contact information at end of OP/ED. ) With many in our society adopting the homosexual lifestyle, including homosexual marriage, the time is here for American and the world to take a careful look at the anticipated results of such aberrant practices. These supporters regularly contend that any relationship is moral if it is based on “love. ” First, allow me to emphasize my support for the Biblical view of marriage as between one man and one woman and for the Bible’s condemnation of homosexuality found in such passages as: Genesis 1-4 and 19, Leviticus18-20, Romans one, one Corinthians six, one Timothy one, and Jude 7. In addition, the first dictionary definition of “marriage” is: “The state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law. ” Questioning how society will address such deviant lifestyles.

Mr. Matt KramerJul 16, 2016
Dr. Hevener, i'm a heterosexual who has never had a gay liaison, and i never will. However, i have gay and lesbian friends; i have a lesbian sister.
When i became old enough to learn about gays and lesbians, i was curious. I questioned myself, saying, "who am i to judge others?" i tried to envision being attracted to a man and i simply could not do it. I like women; that's that.
Later i worked in the la music industry and encountered many gay/lesbian folks. If it was ok, i'd ask questions like "how do you know that you're gay?" (reply - how do you know you're straight?") When did you first know that you were gay? some said they knew when they were as young as six years old. Others said that they knew they were different but didn't know why or how until they got older. Some said, "given so much hatred toward gays, why would i voluntarily choose this life?" overall, these were good people. If leviticus gives men the right to kill women, how can you use the bible to judge gays?.
