Chukwuebuka Cornnell Enekwechi is a track and field athlete, specializing in throwing events. Born in the United States, he competes internationally for Nigeria. He is the 2018 Commonwealth Games Silver medalist and reigning African Champion in the shot put. Enekwechi has won the Nigerian National Sports Festival championship and the Nigerian National Shot Put title multiple times. Enekwechi reached the shot put final at his Olympic debut in Tokyo 2020, finishing 12th. Enekwechi has won the African championship three times, in 2018, 2022, and 2024. He is also a two-time African Games champion, in 2019 and 2024. Enekwechi specializes in throwing events and has won medals in the shot put, weight throw, and hammer throw.
