Camp War Eagle was the army camp of United States army situated at Sadar City of Iraq. This army camp was setup in 2003 to house 1st Squadron 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment known as War Eagles. In 2004, first battles of Mahdi army were fought by this army camp. Many soldiers from 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Brigade, and 2nd Battalion were housed in this camp.
