The bank's customer service stinks, the email posted for the CEO (brian. T. Moynihan@bankofamerica.com) is not in their system, so I suggest to change bank.

I have been a shareholder since 2009 and the performance of the stock due to the ceo and board is terrible compared to other banks in shorter time. The morale within the ranks of the employees is low, upset that they granted a "WOKE "raise within the company and not a raise based on the merrit of the worker so
people working harder are now not and the bank is losing good people and keeping the duds. I think the ceo thinks its his bank and the board its time for a change.

No personal relationships with bankers as in the past. BOA mishandled a document to the point the funds were turned over to the State. We have a copy of the signed paperwork acknowledging the customer is alive for a CD. Dropped the paperwork off at the bank. Received a notice from the state the funds are in their custody turned over to them by BOA, despite filing the paperwork with BOA. The process now of getting the funds back is tedious and traumatic to my 99 year old parent. After hearing this news my parent was hospitalized. The steps to get the funds returned are involved and in mental decline difficult. BOA initiated this problem failing to handle documents properly and turning over funds to the state. BOA takes no responsibility for this error. There are no double checks before turning over funds to the state. There has to be a better way of doing business, there need to be cross checks and double checks before putting customers through hell.

They did the same thing to me - no notices were ever sent to warn of this occuring. If you read comments on internet this has happened to niumberous people. I think boa enjoys tormenting others or they would never do such a thing. Someone (s) there has quite an abusive streak as that is the only reason a customer's money is essentially stolen by boa.

I am so completely disgusted with Bank of America and ready to move to Chase. Starting in April 2020 I filed a Visa card billing dispute. A portion was accidentially filed by me as a Fraud complaint. All merchandise was returned and received by merchant on May 22, 2020. BOA credited a portion of the returned merchandise, but has been completely incompetent about returning the $199. 99 balance. It is nearly Dec. When are you going to correct this. I have placed over 40 calls to BOA. All of your employees are incompetent EXCEPT a woman named Mirtha who finally appeared to correct this on Sept 15, 2020. However still no credit?

BofA does not care about customer service. My overseas sister-in-law and I spent over seven months trying to close her 23 year long CD account through the "Preferred Customer Desk" and the local branch where the account is held. No one at B of A takes responsibility for customer initiated requests, different people answer the phone at the Desk on every occasion and they are very poorly trained (offering to send cashiers checks to countries where they are illegal, not being able to locate accounts or security questions, etc.). Again, no one takes ownership (easy to fix this BofA if you care to: have a person assigned to each case). Don't treat your customers like this. And, if you adopt the suggestion it will save you time and reduce calls. I am really trying to help.

My relative in Russia had a CD with BofA for 22 years. Her husband passed away and she needed to close the account. She was the only name on the account so my wife went to the local branch where the account is held where she advised to have her sister call the "Preferred Customer Desk". The first call resulted in the desk not being able to locate the account. On her second call the desk located her account, but they could not find its security questions. She was told to send two forms of ID and the account name where the money was to be transferred. This resulted in them replying they would send the money as a cashier's check (illegal in Russia). The third call she was told to establish a checking account online, but the desk still couldn't find the account. The local bank advised her call back a fourth time stating that the account was dormant, they still could not locate it. Each time a different person answers the phone and no one is responsible. Six months.

Fraud department is not consistent, suddenly sending an alert for a regular payment to Verizon, Not alerting a $3000 payment refund request made by phone On 10/01 when I made a $3376. 03 payment from my checking account on 10/01 to my credit card On Line. Customer service can not tell me where the $3000 went (not back to my checking), but said it was a request made by phone; Every time they try to connect to the fraud department I'm disconnected. This is the second time in four months that a highly questionable action by someone in Bank of America has impacted one of my credit cards. I believe there is Fraud going on in Bank of Americas internal system and no one seems to want to investigate the issues.

My Husband was severely injured at work and almost crushed to death by 1500 pounds of wooden slabs. Knocked him from one side of the back of a Huge box truck to the other. He broke the first rib under the shoulders in half. also multiple other ribs. we are only asking for help with monthly exspenses. Dr. said was a miracle he also did not puncture a lung or puncture anything else. that is a major rib and can could have caused his death. He's a lucky man God was with him. The first rib is the most superior of the twelve ribs. It is an atypical rib and is an important anatomical landmark. It is one of the borders of the superior thoracic aperture. The ribs form the main structure of the thoracic cage that protects the thoracic organs. my husband has worked 27 years in the moving business and was hurt on Dec. 2nd very badly and now can’t work for months a head. I am trying to get a job even though I’m disabled to try and help out because we have no income at all until at least 3 months

First, not publicizing an e mail to contact people in charge is poor form for a customer friendly institution. My husband and i have been BofA customers for more than a decade. At the moment, we have four separate accounts in BofA. Now, i read that you are freezing the accounts of legal aliens in this country. This is abhorrent to me and, as your customer, i must express my extreme displeasure. This tactic may be in line with the current administrations policies to persecute non-white aliens, but to me it looks like you are using 1930s tactics prevalent in pre-war Germany. If people are in this country legally and using your services legally while you charge them fees and use their money, then ethically and legally you have no right to freeze their accounts. Please end this policy immediately, before i and others need to reconsider doing business with you. Lois R Gross

B of A is screwing up my account. Automated voice says one thing. Snapshot says another. Nobody will help me. Nobody. I am disabled and on SSI. I realize that I am small potatoes, but I cannot afford to not know what I have in the bank. Holding up food, electric and other very important things. Help. Call and whomever I talk to, talks over me. I am a nobody. Nobody listens. I am a nobody. I have been a customer at B of A for a long time. The thanks I get is disrespect. Question? Does anyone care? A friend drove over. Let's go to the grocery store. I can not I tell him. Don't know how much I have in the bank. Eat or pay bills? Am I just a # to B of A?

Just came across your post. My credit went from excellent to average-fair because when i cancelled my credit card in 08/19, i was unaware that i owed them $48. 00. I have worked for days on calling, e-mailing trying to pay. First question always is my account number, which doesn't exsist because i had canceled it. Experian reports i never paid my account balance. And no one can help me. I had been a boa credit card customer thru merrill, and no one there can help me. I have to go thru life like this, even though my husband always kept up to date on all our credit card. This is what i get after20 yrs.
With boa. Just wanted to pass this on to you.
