Agostino Abbagnale is an Italian rower and triple Olympic gold medalist. He is the younger brother of multiple Olympic medalists Carmine Abbagnale and Giuseppe Abbagnale. Agostino Abbagnale is most famous for being a three-time Olympic gold medalist rower from Italy, winning gold medals in the quadruple sculls in both 1988 and 2000, as well as in the double sculls in 1996; he is also known for being the younger brother of fellow renowned Italian rowers, Giuseppe and Carmine Abbagnale, who also won multiple Olympic medals. He was a popular Italian rower who won three Olympic gold medals. He was also awarded the Thomas Keller Medal for his outstanding career in international rowing.
